Employee Spotlight: Keith "KC" Cork – General Manager, Michigan Flyer
After more than two decades in the transit industry, Keith "KC" Cork knew what made a company stand out. Indian Trails had always impressed him with its organization and reputation, so when the opportunity came to join the team, he didn’t think twice.
Now serving as general manager of Michigan Flyer, KC brings a strong focus on customer service to a company recently named the No. 1 transportation provider by USA Today.
He says the people and the culture are what make Indian Trails special, and most days it doesn’t feel like work. The family-oriented environment, he says, is a big part of what keeps him motivated.
KC grew up in the far north of Michigan, in a town that saw more than 15 feet of snow in 2025. Winters there meant bumper sledding behind cars and ATVs on quiet snow-covered roads, the kind of activity you find only in what locals call the great white north.
At home, KC has a green thumb and enjoys working in the garden with his two children. He takes pride in teaching them how to grow and harvest their own fruits and vegetables. When not in the garden, he and his family are likely exploring Mexico. They’ve traveled from Mazatlán to Zihuatanejo to the southern edge of the Riviera Maya. His dream is to retire in Bacalar, a serene Caribbean town known for its natural beauty and slower pace of life.
