Casino bus tours are a favorite pastime in Michigan, with plenty of choices throughout the region for those who love to play. Many charter bus companies – like Indian Trails – offer the option to plan an entire casino bus trip or tour for just you and your 40-50 closest friends.

Many of Michigan’s top casinos offer discounts for charter groups — allowing you to work with one of their coordinators to get you the best deal (Bonus: many of them include free slot play). With all the great casino trips to take in Michigan, we knew it would be hard to narrow it down, which is why we put together our list of the top casino bus trips to take in Michigan.

Soaring Eagle Casino Resort — Mt. Pleasant, MI

Voted “Favorite Casino” in Michigan by Midwest Gaming and Travel, Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort not only boasts an array of table games, slots, and a 24-hour poker room – but it also has a relaxing spa and a multitude of dining options. Not only does Indian Trails make stops in Mt. Pleasant on a regular basis, but we offer the opportunity to charter your group and take advantage of Soaring Eagle’s motorcoach special. Book your stay at the Waterpark or the Casino; either way, you won’t be disappointed.

FireKeepers Casino — Battle Creek, MI

One of Michigan’s newer casinos, FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek, has been on a path to rapid expansion since they opened their doors in 2009. The hotel – only two years old – has already achieved the honor of four diamond status from AAA (only 5% of AAA properties achieve this ranking).  Locations that earn this award must meet 27 requirements around cleanliness, comfort, security, and safety and demonstrate strict quality guidelines.

If their luxury hotel wasn’t enough to get you on their property, FireKeepers won 23 Best of Gaming awards in 2015, including Best Overall Gaming Resort and Best Promotions, from Casino Players Magazine.

If you love fast-paced poker action, head to Detroit for some live action. Greektown’s 100,000 square foot casino is better than it has ever been, receiving the AAA Four Diamond Award for the first time in its history. Since Dan Gilbert’s acquisition of the casino in 2013, Greektown has undergone a $70 million renovation. It will officially be renamed to Jack Detroit Casino-Hotel Greektown this year.
