The Detroit Air Xpress (DAX) bus service operated by Michigan Flyer begins on March 25. This nonstop express service will shuttle passengers between downtown Detroit (1119 Washington Blvd. near State St.) and the Detroit Metro Airport at the McNamara and Evans terminals. The route runs 16 roundtrips daily from 3:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Taking the DAX allows riders to enjoy convenient trips to and from the airport, avoiding the hassle of parking or using expensive ride apps. Tickets are just $6 one way when purchased in advance and are now available online at DAX-bus.com.
When you travel with Indian Trails, you can choose your seat as you get on the bus, so arrive early to get your prime selection. Depending on how you travel best, there are many options to consider. For example, if you get motion sickness you might want to sit in the front to see the horizon ahead. Or if proximity to the bathroom is important, you'd want to be near the rear.
